ESE performed a visual survey of a selected number of the existing electrical service equipment at the Westminster Apartment buildings located at Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell Massachusetts.
ESE recorded thermal images of each Main Service Disconnect
Switch and Modular Meter Centers using a Fluke TiS75+ thermal imager. The observed results was that the delta T above ambient T was not observed to be above normal operating temperature per NFPA 70B standards.
• No convection was present during the inspection.
• There was a very low thermal gradient.
• No arcing was detected.
• There was no alternative parallel path of conductive heat flow.
