This two floor, 9,000 square foot building was previously a commercial building, & is currently being renovated into offices & a new community based group home, serving youth ages 14-18, who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. The program is the first of its kind in the Granite State, and offers a safe, supportive living environment with 24-hour staffing for up to eight youth, while they prepare for family reunification, independent living, secondary education paths and future self-sufficiency.
ESE had the privilege to work with the oldest child welfare system in America, the Home for Little Wanderers, on their new Unity House in Keene, NH. Our Scan to BIM team provided the existing conditions of the building including all walls, floors, windows, furnishing, etc. shown through plans, elevations, and 3D models. Existing conditions were collected by creating a 3D Scan Point Cloud of the building using ESE’s Trimble TX7 scanning equipment which was later modeled in BIM. Construction is currently in the early design phases, but ESE is very excited to continue working as the Electrical Engineer Consultants on this project.
